Meskina is a Dutch romantic comedy film, released on 22nd July 2021, and now is being premiered on 4th March on Netflix. It is directed by Daria Bukvic, co-written by Daria Bukvic, Fadua El Akchaoui, and co-produced by Jeroen Koopman. It is a passion project of Dutch-Moroccan stand-up comedian Soundos El Ahmadi, who wanted the Moroccan Community to represent the Dutch films. The story is about a Moroccan Dutch thirty-plus single woman who is seen as a “Meskina,” i.e., a pity case by her family, who are desperate to make her marry someone. Maryam Hassoumi is portraying the lead character of Leyla in the film, and she looks gorgeous in this Meskina Maryam Hassouni Pink Coat.
